WMS - Putaway: Skip Location
OBJECTIVE: Give putaway drivers a fast, reliable way to skip unusable locations while creating the visibility needed for ICQA to fix issues and keep work flowing
BUSINESS IMPACT: Unblocked network rollout of upgraded tasking architecture ($312K in annual labor savings) & increased putaway throughput
SOLUTION: An exception flow built into the Putaway function where users flag problem locations & find alternatives in real time, with desktop visibility to aid problem resolution driven by systemic locks
USER REACH: Associates at 49+ buildings across Stocking Distribution & Flatbed Distribution Center networks
WMS - Release Trailer
OBJECTIVE: Leverage cross-app integration to give inbound & yard users a simplified process for removing empty trailers from the receiving dock
BUSINESS IMPACT: Decreased task completion time by 30 seconds & decreased risk of safety incidents
SOLUTION: A guided device flow with built in safeguards that triggers auto-creation of trailer moves in the YMS, replacing a lengthy desktop-based process
USER REACH: Associates at 12 buildings across the Stocking Distribution Center network
Opportunistic Cross-Dock
OBJECTIVE: Enable newly received pallets to flow directly to outbound for order fulfillment to eliminate redundant labor tasks in putaway, replenishment, and picking
BUSINESS IMPACT: $1.2M annual labor savings through reduced touches and increased outbound throughput
SOLUTION: An interrupt message added to the Putaway function that redirects users to move pallets to outbound staging when a series of backend requirements are met
